Day 2

Day 2 is in the books and not treating me as well as I could have hoped. I am extremely tired and finally found out what it is like to get nauseous from chemo. I never got sick but I think I came close a few times. I set up a new email address it is cartwrightjake@gmail.com feel free t drop me a line so that I can add your email to my new contact list. Anyhow I think I am going to take another nap please continue those prayers so that god will grant me added strength to see me through.

God Bless
Jake

But the Lord said to Paul, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

As I am writing this, Day 3 of your last round of chemo is over, but you haven't written a new blog yet so I am commenting on this one. I just want to let you and everyone who reads your blog know how proud I am of you. You have been so strong the last 3 1/2 months and your strength and the prayers of many people have helped me to stay strong. I have watched you endure radiation and chemo and I know that during it all, God was by your side. Your faith and courage are a blessing to those who know you as well as to those who don't. I know you still have tests to endure and results to wait for before we know for sure if you have kicked this things butt, but that's not what this comment is about. This comment is to tell you that no matter what happens today, tomorrow, or in the future, I want you and everyone who reads your blog to know how proud I am to be your mom.

I love you,
Mom

P.S. There are too many people to thank individually, so this is for ALL of you who have prayed for Jake - THANK YOU - and please continue your prayers that he will be healed completely.

Good Morning from HOT HOT Virginia. I hope all is well. Waiting to hear. We keep you in our prayers and on the church prayer list. You have been so remarkable and an inspiration to all. You can hold you head high. Mom & Dad have done a good job raising you, they can be real proud. Are you an uncle yet? Something new to look forward too. Have a blessed day and recoup.

It's a great day to be alive. :) I just wanted to tell you how much I love this song, because it reminds me of you and Kevin. You haven't written in a while, so I wanted to write a quick comment to remind you how much we all love you. I can't wait to see you.
