Results

I met with Dr. Crim on Friday about the results from my biopsy. It turns out the new spot that looks nothing like my old cancer is in fact the same cancer. I'm not too worried about this news since Ive been dealing with it for so long now and know what to expect. I am going to begin a new treatment here in Fort Worth which is the the original drug that START wanted to use but I didn't meet the study guidelines. Though now the Drug has partial FDA approval so with the go ahead from the pharmaceutical company I get to have it now. I am going to start this treatment in a week or so. God has seen me through this far so I am confident going into this next part.

God Bless
Jake

Just wanted to let you know that we enjoyed spending time with you last week and get to see you play soccer again (even though we got more of a show than we expected). When you can get a break from the trips to San Antonio, would love to have you come visit. We have seen miracles happen over the past year, so there is no reason we should not expect one now, but will keep praying. We love you.

Hi Jake!
I just want to say that you are in and have been in my prayers ever since I learned about your cancer. I had a student in my kindergarten class that has lukemia, as well as a co-worker whose son has a very bad type of tumer cancer. I know that God definately is a miricle worker as i have kept up with you and these other two people who fight every day with this diesase. You will make another recovery again, You will continue to be in my prayers and well as your family.
Love in Christ Jesus,

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bear
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer
Oh what peace we often forfeit
Oh what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer.

Hi Jake - My prayers for you continue. I'm glad you're feeling better and happy you're continuing to fight with such uplifting spirit. Love ya.

2 Corinthians 3-7
I heard this in church about two Sunday's ago and though of you.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. Our hope for you is unshaken; for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort.
